Do you know what a network is in information technology? (1/23)

Yes

Find out

A network is a series of computers (clients and servers, see question 6), peripherals and other devices connected to one another that allow people to send and receive data, share information, access services, etc. A network involves at least two computers that can be physically near (connected via Bluetooth or Infrared) or thousands of kilometres away from each other (through the Internet).

Why is this information important for translators and translation teachers?
Since translators usually communicate with their customers and other colleagues via computer networks, they should have at least some idea of what networks are.
