This is performed at the end of a large project or, sometimes, after small projects, to emphasise key points.
It takes the form of a report which you will present to your employer, your team or maybe the client and will contain information regarding both the problems you encountered during the project and the solutions / suggestions you had for solving them, information regarding costs and profit as well as steps that helped you speed up the process.
Report
At this stage, you can use the Report module to generate reports, in the form of charts or lists, from data relating to Project, Client, Finance, Software or Supplier Management. For example, you will be able to show graphically how much gross profit your company obtained per client or per project.

This is also the moment to think about the feedback you got from the client and answer a few questions:
Was the project delivered on time? What about its quality?
Was the client's feedback positive or negative? Is there something you can implement to improve things?
If there were problems, were they linked to internal or external factors?
By thinking about these questions, you will be making your job as project manager easier in any future projects. It's worth stressing again that this phase should be about the lessons learnt, including both the negative aspects and how they could be avoided in the future, and the good aspects and how you could enhance these in future projects.
