Terminology Course 4 - Working with MultiTerm

About this course

This course aims to enhance your practical knowledge regarding the use of terminology management systems and targets professional translators, as well as translation and CAT (Computer-Aided Translation) tools teachers.

In this course, we will use MultiTerm 7.x as an example of a terminology management system. Although MultiTerm 7.x is the latest version of this particular application and therefore has new features compared to previous versions, the main concepts and principles on which it is based are the same. Its layout is still very similar to the one in the previous version (TRADOS MultiTerm iX).

By the end of this course you should be aware of the main characteristics, functionalities, components, additional products and versions of MultiTerm. You should also be able to access local and remote termbases, navigate through MultiTerm termbases, work with termbase definitions, perform searches, use filters, and maintain MultiTerm terminology databases.
