Teaching in a traditional classroom with only one computer and students working individually or in groups
Advantages
This is a possible scenario if there are not enough resources for hardware, software, etc.
Disadvantages
Students are not able to edit their materials or translations in electronic format directly in class – only on their paper versions.
Students do not have the chance to work with a computer and make themselves familiar with this tool and the software during class.
If using a local termbase it is not possible to work from different computers. Students will only be able to access the relevant termbase if they all share the local user name and work on the same PC, which is not realistic, and far from ideal.
