Macros (12/12)

Macros are an efficient way to automate repetitive tasks, to change or to extend the functions of a L10N tools. Function keys can be assigned to macros so that they can be called at any time.

Some software localisation tools offer macros that allow users to:

  • Change or extend functions of the software localisation tool
  • Automate recurrent tasks
  • Implement user-defined checks
  • Work with user-specific file formats
  • Partly integrate development environments such as:
    • Special editors with context-sensitive help
    • Debuggers (computer programs used to test and "debug" other programs)
