Course Structure
The Terminology Course III is divided into two sections:
- Creating Terminology Databases (TDBs): The main topic of this section is the structure of terminology databases: what different sub-structures can be found in a TDB (macrostructure, microstructure and internal structure of data categories), how each sub-structure should/can be defined in order to have a well-structured and efficent TDB, and finally what should be taken into account when working with data categories.
- Working with Terminology Databases: This section covers topics such as populating, importing/exporting, exchanging and maintaining TDBs. It also offers a brief overview of terminology extraction as a related task to working with terminology databases.
