Terminology 3

Terminology Database Structure (1/6 (1))

In order to create a terminology database, appropriate software must be chosen. For this, features such as language, graphic design, user-friendliness, tutorials, help functions, network capabilities, import/export functions, etc. must be taken into consideration.

A concept-oriented or term-oriented termbase requires a well-designed structure for the existing terminological data, particularly in three basic areas: microstructure (micromodel), macrostructure (macromodel), and data categories of entries.
