The Alignment Wizard now sends the alignment results to the TM you specified. At the end of this process the Wizard informs you how many aligned sentences have been sent.
If you want to get the alignment result as such in order to export it into a different format (e.g. TMX to import it into another TM system or exchange it with another translator), you nevertheless have to store it in a TM first and then export it from this TM. This process will be covered in the exercise on Creating and Maintaining TMs.
If you need to stop working on the alignment project without having finished it, you can either save it or simply close the project (as in DVX). Afterwards you will have to open the Alignment Workfile again and continue checking the alignment results. In order to do this, choose the option Open from the File menu and then choose your alignment workfile (file name extension ".dvapr"). After having finished the alignment task, you can store it in a new or an existing TM database.
